Amazing views, attractive grounds, plenty of free parking, and 24-hour staffed reception. Rooms in separate buildings with wooden paneling and unique balconies. Powerful AC, comfortable beds, spotless rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful lobby, good-sized rooms, and a modern interior. Good breakfast selection and child-friendly seating. Good restaurant with accommodating staff. Quiet location near town. Large and delicious breakfast.

The breakfast buffet, the SPA, the snow over the mountains seen from the window every morning, the proximity (by car) from wonderful places
The fact of not being advised that on my last mornig , the breakfast wouldn't be buffet and that we shuould have chosen what we wanted the night before but nobody warned us.

We selected the hotel Izan Puerta de Gredos for its location close to "Sierra de Gredos". The atmosphere and the location of the hotel were excellent, relaxing surroundings and the access to the mountains, nature and picturesque villages was easy. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a good selection of products.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is truly amazing, with fresh air and breathtaking views of the Sierra de Gredos mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel's internet connection was excellent, which was essential for us as we had to work remotely. The property itself is a perfect blend of classic exterior and modern interior, creating a stately yet comfortable atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even delivering a delicious pasta dish to our room. it was an unforgettable experience.

The location is very peaceful; the rooms very comfortable.
Our lack of Spanish and their lack of English made ordering dinner, and an early breakfast, a bit of an exercise!

The hotel stands in its own grounds and is well away from the nearest town which has absolutely nothing to commend it. The reformation of this historic building is very interesting and makes for an enjoyable experience, and is a nice change from the typical new hotels that seem to be everywhere.
The breakfast was acceptable, but certainly not up to the standard that one would expect at a four star hotel.

Quiet, spacious room with comfortable king bed and beautiful wooden roof. Huge and delicious breakfast. Beautiful hotel and grounds with a stunning entrance lobby. Good-sized, modern rooms with plentiful seating for breakfast. Helpful staff who went out of their way to assist. Good selection of child seats. Lovely on-site restaurant. Plentiful parking. Quiet location with scenic countryside.

The location was excellent, in the countryside near the North slopes of Sierra de Gredos. The room (double level) was luxurius..
The double level room is not appropriate for a family with a very young child (3 years), especially when it was no possible to place the 3 beds on the same floor. Use of swimming pool was extra charged !!. Breakfast was also charged 15 euros/person extra. Staff do not speak English at all so communication was difficult even for simple requests.

Ideal location for Sierra de Gredos. Good breakfast (although expensive). Free upgrade to appartment because of overbooking.
Unfriendly staff unable to speak any other language than Spanish. Swimming pool not included in room price (additional 75€ for 5 persons 2 hours).Cleanliness not on the expected level.

Lovely location on the edge of a country town with impressive old building. Stylish mix of old and new decor. Friendly, helpful staff. Good food options and portion sizes. Warm rooms even in winter.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery. The grounds are well-maintained and offer plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy the views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as jacuzzi baths and air conditioning. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, and there was free internet access in the lobby. the hotel provided a tranquil and enjoyable experience.
One aspect to consider is that there is a fee to use the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. It would be more convenient if guests were offered a whole day pass instead of paying by the hour.

Beautiful view! Comfortable rooms with modern amenities and a tasty breakfast selection with fresh fruits and pastries. The hotel is also located in a peaceful area with a serene backdrop of lush greens.
The waitstaff were impolite and slow. There was no dedicated bartender, so the receptionist barely had time to tend to the guests’ needs.

Rob
Lovely hotel, spacious rooms with amazing views of the mountains, jacuzzi in bathroom, buffet breakfast with lots of options. The swimming pool offers a stunning view of the mountains. I highly recommend this hotel.
